North Carolina
The Christmas by the Sea festival is organized by the Southport - Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce, and runs through 3 consecutive weekends in December. The festival is a collection of events sponsored by many community organizations. The highlights include a hometown parade, tour of homes, a lighted boat parade, and activities for children.
