Georgia
The holiday season kicks off every year with the lighting of the Christmas tree in Jekyll Island's Historic District on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The festivities continue right through the end of December with tours of the cottages in the Historic District, the beautiful lights and decorations of the season, storytelling, caroling, craft workshops, the Holly Jolly Jekyll Parade, and more.
